I do not know what you guyz think of it all. To me the current American presidential electiion campaign looks like the most vulgar, rude, ridiculous political campaign ever. Ever. Even the Belgians could not do worse. If Clinton wins people will say she did not have a real opponent. If she loses, then what? OMG, then we have reasons to wet our pants. What a disaster!

Then Jesus will have to stand up. It don't matter to Jesus. They cannot fool him, man. You might fool the f***s out there, but you don't fool Jesus. Laughable, man - ha ha! Wooo! You got a date Monday, Trump!

Hi Martine.  I commented on this is my latest offering to the board last night.  Here's what I put

"I have been following with great interest and worry the Presidential election.  It's frightening and Trump bothers, annoys and repulses me.  I get very agitated just looking at him and what's with the right hand gestures?  Someone should cuff him (then throw him in the Potomac).  I know it's not necessarily my place to comment, but the man is a fool.  A dangerous one.  Clinton would get my vote only because I feel Trump is doing this for the wrong reasons and sees it as one big PR stunt (lessor of two evils maybe).  I've probably trivialised it, but I genuinely do not like the man whatsoever.  Do you think he'd paint the Whitehouse gold?  He's tacky enough for sure lol  I've stood outside Trump Tower under that gawdawful globe outside it.  Only he could make expensive look cheap and tacky.  But what do I know?

Anyone care about this Brexit situation over here?  It's reminded me of Scottish independence when 'they' lost and have done nothing but bellyache about it.  Now with the EU thing, the whole island is bellyaching about something.  We have our own Trump, called Nicola lol  She's intent on ripping the UK apart.  A dangerous woman indeed, but the only defence I can give them is, it's their job.  I suppose you can't expect a nationalist party to be anything else.  But to me the whole independence thing is a laugh.  They want to be free of Westminster govern but be 'ruled' by Brussels instead.  I really don't get it.  That's no independence in my eyes.  I really should emigrate lol"

Anywhere in Belgium that would take me Martine?

I love everybody.  Some I love to be around, some I love to avoid and others I'd love to punch in the face. <~~~~ for Jeff vid clips

US politics is beyond comprehension these days. I'd like to say something profound about it, but I'm not sure what that would be.

Presidential politics is more or less just a waste of time for me anyway. In the US, you don't really vote for a candidate. You vote for  "electors" who actually cast the votes that count. So the State of Oklahoma is allotted 7 electoral votes out of 538 nationally. Oklahoma is  a winner takes all deal and Oklahoma has not cast an electoral vote for a Democrat since the late 1960s (Lyndon Johnson). I'll go down to the polls next Tuesday and vote for Hillary Clinton, but in reality my vote will go for Donald Trump. It's a 7 vote gimme for Republicans. Neither candidate even bothers to campaign here.

The polls seem to give Hillary the edge nationally and I think she would make a great president. There's not much I can do about it but abide, so that's what I'm doing.

In other news the Cubs are tearing it up tonight in Cleveland! Go Cubs Go!

I'd like to contribute something worthwhile here, too, but I'm out of words. I'm so tired of the circus. I can't wait for it to be over... but somehow I fear it won't be over, whoever wins. The electoral thing drives me nuts. I'm trying to stick my head in the sand but it doesn't seem to be working. As for Brexit... what is this world coming to? Has it really become so generic/globalized that we're all fighting for an identity? So much nastiness!

The long campaign has taught this 66 year old a new lesson.  If Stupid yells out loud and long and persistently then stupid people will become followers.
It seems to be a brainwashing of sorts for people who are very angry, but they can't voice their anger.
There's an old song from the '60's or 70's that says talkin' is cheap.
People follow like sheep ... even though there is nowhere to go.  (I bet you recognize that song CR.)

So here we go - possibly over the cliff into ruin and Stupid is running the train.
Stupid people don't want to hear about the issues.  Which is good for Trump followers because he cannot understand the issues.

As for Brexit,  Be careful what you ask for.  You just might get it and find out you're in a maze you don't want to be in and you can't find your way out.

And God said "let there be light".
Then General Electric pushed him out of the way and the era of Corporate America was born to rule the universe.
