I'm not sure what happened there! I love that film clip you posted, Brogan. It does seem like that was a thing in those days, doesn't it? Or perhaps that was the only time it was done and the Coens saw it..? Very cool, either way.

Hi Brogan,

How cool that you found that and posted it here. I agree with Ali, for sure the Cohen Brothers saw that. Although, if you asked them, I bet they would say, "Nope. Never saw that."

And may I say, we just saw Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, and WOW! Paul Newman was one beautiful man. I've never seen The Hustler, I think it's about time that I did.

Oh yes, The Coen Brothers saw it. No doubt. Not just that short pin girl sequence, the whole thing. Brogan, you have unearthed the origin of you know, you'll uh, uh - well, you know what I'm trying' to say... Oh yeah.

And ooooh, what a handsome man Paul Newman was! I can sit and watch him all day 😉
