Beautiful photos, Michele! You don't look like you've changed at all since I met you. You look a lot like your dad here, too - the photo of him you posted recently. Your daughter's boyfriend has photographic talent.
What a nice photo! You all look very cheerful. Lisa is the dark haired young lady, right? Allan looks very Scandinavian. We should all post a picture of our family for the holidays, you know. Who took this photo, Michele? Oh, I see, your daughter 'a boyfriend.

Hi Michele,
You all look really fit and healthy, living in America is not doing you any harm, must be the weather, remember, the sun shines on the righteous,
I have visited the USA many times and love the way of life and the American people, I even saw The Ink Spots in Hawaii in 1981.
Great Pics.

Thank you, everyone. I feel a little strange with all this attention, but it's very flattering.

I am definitely old enough, lol. I'll be 56, Dec 25. I've always looked younger, though. I didn't like it when I was a teenager and in my 20s and people thought I was a kid, and you always want to look at least your age. Then, because Jacqueline's eyes are so blue, and we look so different, they assumed I was the nanny. No, no, she's mine! But now, of course, I am grateful.

Yes, Ali, my hair is curly. When I was a kid and teenager, I straightened it. There were no products, it wasn't in style, and as soon as it was the slightest bit damp, it would frizz. Then I discovered my hairdresser when I was 19, and he showed me how to wear it curly, and I've never straightened it since.

Allan and I have been married 21 years, together 23. Jacqueline and Lisa are not his biological daughters, though he's been in their lives since Lisa was a year. My ex (A**hole) was off with his girlfriend when Lisa was eight months old, and Jacqueline was 2. And I had quit my job to be a stay at home mom. It was a horrible time, but my parents and my brother were there for me. The girls haven't seen their biological father since they were little.

I found an amazing therapist and joined a support group to help you get through divorce. Well, it helped me, all right, I met Allan. His mother had dragged him (he would never join a support group on his own, but they were both going through a divorce - so he was dealing with it from his wife leaving and his parents splitting) and we've been together ever since.

My parents were so upset with me, a new relationship so fast, what about the girls, etc., but I never felt about anyone the way I felt about him. It was so weird because I had such a strong feeling that I knew him from before, but we had never met. Yet it was so intense. And I knew that we'd be together from the first night we met.

Susy, Jacqueline has blue eyes, and Lisa's are brown-green. People used to think I was the nanny when she was born because we look so different, and I was like, no, no, I'm the mother!

Here's a baby pic with Jacqueline and me. I was 29 when she was born, and, well . . . old enough!

And Baz, thank you for your kind words, and while I love the States and Americans, I am actually Canadian. I live an hour away from Toronto.

And here they are, my girls, all grown up. OI+lo6IOSraQaiN8gycFMA_thumb_95f.jpg  UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_8ab.jpg
