And may I add, without meaning to sound in any way glib . . . when I was going through a terrible time, my mom (who has passed and whom I miss every single day) would tell me

"This too shall pass."

I wasn't sure if I should write that because I didn't want it to seem that I was in any way making light of such a tragedy, and so at first I deleted it. But then I thought about it, and her words helped me . . . to know that as devastating as this must be, (for I have never experienced such disaster) a year from now it will be a bleak memory that you will have put behind you.

Some, who have lost loved ones, cannot say the same, but, fortunately, the Bridges Family is safe and sound.

It's all about rebuilding, now. Take care, Jeff & Sue.

What do you need?

Jeff can afford to buy his own chain of pizza shops if he wants... What about the poor buggers affected who cant afford pizza?  You'd be better off offering them a Chicago pizza day?

(sorry Jeff, no offense meant)

"I am a stranger who no one would need help from"--actually there are many who need help, but the ultra-wealthy aren't among them, not for material things anyway. Which is their good fortune.

Yeah and they'll be the first to agree with that Susy... especially Jeff.
Offering help such as food to the wealthy is like a P in the ocean..  Most of the decent ones would say... thanks but no thanks, we don't need it but average  Joe Bloggs does!! ... offer your hand of kindness to them please.

Thank you for your offer, Carol. I think, as Jeff said, what they most appreciate right now are prayers and best wishes.
