Michele,

I have read Janie's post. Did you?  I already started Caregiver Pictures.  Last week.  And, you didn't reply.  Why ask now?

Janie,

Caregiving is not easy.  I know the rage.  I still have scars.

Friends and Family, did disappear.

Love remained.

So, I opened Caregiver Pictures.  I will tell the story of Caregivers.  We will be on the red carpet, in our own fabulous clothes. with our own stories.

My Dad was an extraordinary man.  Mild Mannered, a true gentleman. One day, I walked into his kitchen, and was beaten by his walker.  He hit me so hard, I still have pain and scars.  My Dad would never lay a hand on me.  But, he did hurt me.  In his illness.  I did not know it was Alzheimer's.

As I picked myself off of the floor, my dad asked me to make him a sandwich.

I did.

I made my Dad a sandwich.

I was bleeding.  I was scared.  I was alone.

"Ham?'

and Provolone.
dad ate as a two year old.
I took his hand.  It was the last time.  He hated touching me after the sandwich.
