Matt Damon, Josh Brolin and Jeff Bridges are all in talks to star in the Coen brothers' planned remake of "True Grit," the Hollywood Reporter says. John Wayne won an Oscar for his role in the original film as a U.S. marshal tracking an outlaw with a Texas Ranger. The Coens' re-adaptation of the Charles Portis novel centers on "a 14-year-old girl traveling into dangerous territory with the two lawmen in search of the man who murdered her father," THR says. Production could start in the spring.
