My neighbours and family all thought i was potty years ago when i first started putting it up that early, but they've all got used to me now. Years back i one day thought ... ohhh sod it, im not hurting anyone by putting my tree up early ... who cares what other think, so from then on i did. One problem now though is my girls, more Rachel at the moment cos she now lives with her boyfriend. She is like me, loves putting the tree up (well, she's used to it) and wants to put hers up early (all donated from me i might add) but he's like YOU WHAT? !!!
I tell you what .... if it wasnt for blooming Halloween (grrrr barrr humbug) id put it up sooner ... well, OK a day or two sooner
Ive got loads n loads of baulballs, 3 different trees, one white, the other two green .... all i might add brought for next to nothing AFTER Christmases. I get all my wrapping paper, cards and gift tags after Christmas too. I never pay full price for them, well i just love bargains.
I like to have a kind of theme going, last year it was pink and lilacs with a white tree, this year its going to be one of my most favorite themes .. multi coloured baulballs allll facited or glittery (some both) so as to catch the maximum light from the tree lights on a huge green tree. Ive also got gold, red, green themed bauballs ... ohhh loads of colours. Ive even got our childhood baubals that i use here and there ... Ohhh i just LOVE Christmas ...... hate buying the bloody presents though.
Anyone still awake?

I always have a tree in the porch cos our front door is glass panels so you can see it from outside and of course Christie has a pink tree in her room (yes even at her age!) I bought a new tree 2 years ago for the living room and spent quite lot of money on it but David let me so that was fine, it's ab fab! Last year, i got 2 (one green, one white) 6ft trees from Studio cards (love that catalogue) for .... wait for it !!! £7 each ... i tell ya ... they are bloomin gorgeous ... i get a lot of my little Chrissy pressies from Sudio cards, they have a lot of nice half price things... good quality too i might add ... right im waffling again id better get off here ... weigh in at Weight watchers in less than an hour
