Not looking to sell anything or promote anything but it might be fun to generate ideas for things that people might watch on TV or in the theater. I like creative writing however I'm too busy of lazy to come up with a complete work. It was always fun to do a group write where someone adds on to another's stories. My favorite Bridges movie is The Big Lebowski so I will start with something along that line. If it were up to me I would write a sequel called Sobchak with Walter fantasies. For this though I would like to use the theme of Bowling. All kinds of people from all walks of life go to bowling alleys. The bowling alley just serves as a common starting point for stories to start. A story from the past might be told from the bowling alley with narration and a story in modern times might start with someone leaving, going to, or in the bowling alley. Seems like there is a lot of creative people on here who might have a fictional, true story, or based on a true story with plenty of embellishment. This is just for fun not to be produced or developed. If this project sounds fun I can start it off or someone might have the creative juices flowing.

Sounds like an interesting idea, BG. How about you start it off and we'll see whether it goes anywhere? I bet Suzy would be good at this. Michele would be, too, but she hasn't been here in  long, long time. Anyone else want to join in?

I grew up in our bowling alley, Del Mar Lanes, a 10 lane bowling alley, bar with attached pool hall (that I was never allowed to enter).  My dad also had harness horses.  I felt every moment of my grandparents, dad's entire life.  On my Mom's side my Uncle Casey was given the Purple Heart in World War II.  And my Bucia (grandmother in Polish) nursed him back to heath.  Half of his neck was shot out in WWII.  My mom and Bucia traveled to downstate Illinois, after his arrival, to save his life. As only a mother could at the time......He's still alive.  And, with all of this, I can only speak for my dad. He is pointing us in the direction of the Bridges Family... Why, well, this is all factual stuff, and I will share love, not facts...in my writing on your premise...... that we look to the bowling alley....for the familiar, that my family, in their pain, tried to uphold for each and every one of you, until Lebowski...

So, Bushy, let's start from there.  I want to tell the story....until Lebowski....we had a lot of pain......and, comedy....love...more pain. You just walk into a bowling alley.  We built one.
