How is the weather where you live? There is a storm coming our way. Code orange in the entire nation. I hear it is very very cold in some parts of the US and Canada.

The weather is terrible. Cold and snowing --- a lot. Burrr . . .  I can't even let the dogs out to play, too cold.

Wet and soggy here. We have had a lot of ice over the last few weeks but by midday it's usually just muddy, drizzly nastiness. I hope your place warms up soon, Michele!

Thanks, Nicky. Cold, cold, but bright and sunny. I think I prefer that to drizzle. That gets depressing after awhile.

I read once that Seattle had the highest rate of suicides because of the weather being rainy all the time. But I've also read that it's a beautiful city.

It was sunny and dry here too. But the wind was oh so freezing cold. Bono and I went to the beach, but we both ran back to the car after what is probably the shortest winter beach walk in the Belgian winter beach walking history. I drove to town and bought myself 1 T-shirt, 2 sweaters and a scarf (sales).
December 2017 was one of the greyest months ever here, very depressing. I believe I have heard we only had 10 hours of sunshine.
The first building in the background is where I work.

The storm I mentioned earlier caused a crane to fall over into an apartment building. There was one casualty and a huge amount of damage. That sort of stuff does not often occur over here.
