I am now beginning to worry about the entry ticket. When I check my account, all I see is that the ticket still has to be printed. How much longer do they intend to wait? Do not they know I live overseas???? That bloody piece of paper has to cross the Channel and land in my mailbox before I travel in the opposite direction. No doubt, there are rules for people who end up losing their ticket etc... I would rather not end up in that sort of situation.
Other Vanomaniacs going to the event are complaining too. Some even begin to use lyrical vocabulary to describe their feelings about the situation. Of course, I am too refined a person to join them in their rant [wink].
Recent pictures of Van tell me he has possibly lost weight too. How his nether region reacts to it is a mystery to me.

As you can see BMI is everywhere. It does not always have to same meaning though...

My ticket trauma is a matter of the past. The Royal Albert Hall also mailed my itinerary for the night. It starts at 6 pm with a hospitality treatment. The concert begins at 7.30 pm sharp. Unlike The Rolling Stones, Van is usually punctual. He also likes his audience to respect the rules (no drinking, no talking,...) when he sings. Unfortunately, the RAH does not allow cameras. The last time I was there I took a couple of pictures. So, I will take a camera with me and use it when I see a chance and post them here.
I am travelling by train. There is no need to remind me of my August train trip to the airport [mad].
I am beginning to feel very excited now! See you!

I saw The Man yesterday evening. He was in great form, even had time to say a couple of words to the audience and crack some (short) jokes in between. The person sitting next to me felt distracted by "the back light of my camera". There was no back light (perhaps he meant the back light of the camera screen), no flash either. Anyhow, I had to be careful and feel happy to share some pictures with you:

The first thing I needed was a cash machine producing British money. I was fortunate to find one at the railway station in Brussels, because London seemed full of fancy shops, but void of cash machines:

Van and his band rehearsing in Hyde Park:

The Royal Albert Hall, outside (I added some iPad picture chrome - it is ugly, but I cannot help doing it):

The Royal Albert Hall, inside (without chrome), people coming in

Van Morrison, a working man in his prime

And of course, a standing ovation

All is well that ends well
