I'm in desperate need of some lol  Just as busy with the normal stuff.  Nah, just dad who is in better shape than me most times so why am I doing all the running!  Oh well, that's the role reversal in evidence.  It really does happen.

So, what's new.  Nothing much nor interesting to post.  We are going to Liverpool in two weeks (nearly said fortnight ha!) for International Beatles Week.  We went for the first time last year and loved our time there.  We are going with two other couples again and likely to have a blast.  Hoping to get some proper sight seeing done.  We did the MMT which was good, but it didn't stop at all points, so we are going to do the walking tour which will be good to keep in shape also.  We are staying at the same hotel as last year which we are also looking forward to as it's a great one with an outstanding breakfast ..... full English, just what my diet ordered lol

We have our trip to Marrakesh next month.  In two minds about it now.  BA have messed about with our flights and our return journey now includes a night in Heathrow airport.  7 hours between flights which is not enough time to even bother booking a hotel for the night.  No sooner would we check in we'd be packing up to check out again as it's now at least recommended that passengers arrive 3 hours prior to flight to ensure getting through security because of all the new checks they have to do!  So upset about the whole flying home thing.  Never spent a night in an airport before, or 7 hours between flights.  Lets hope we find some benches to crash out on lol

We have Malta in November too and I have now (she whispers) booked a wee trip to Prague next March for hubby's surprise birthday treat.  I don't know why I keep it secret as he must realise something is likely to be planned now.  But there ya go.  It's more a joint present as our birthdays are only a week apart so not a selfless act.

How's your summers going?  It's dreadful in the UK.  Not a day goes by that it's not raining.  Can't even get my washing hung out.  I was asked last week 'how do we dress for this weather?'.  It is difficult but just make sure you have a brolly.   It's warm though but very chilly at night.  I'm looking forward to next week as schools in Scotland go back after the summer break.  I always hate school holidays.  Kids are everywhere! Can't get a decent trip around the supermarket without kids on bikes and scooters buzzing down the aisles.  Why do parents let their kids treat shops like they are in a playground?  I think it's very inconsiderate.  Worse when a football (a proper round one not an oval rugby one) comes over the shelves.  Poor fella last week had a ball fall into his trolley and his bottle of milk exploded covering him and a few around him.  Parent was not interested.  Shocking.

Have been catching up on some of Jeff's films and had a bit of a Jeff Fest the other weekend.  Hadn't really watched much in ages so dug out my FBB and Jagged Edge.  Went down a treat after a rough week.  Looking forward to seeing Kingsman (that's good to go) and might treat myself to a trip out for TOLBINY.  I'm going to call it Tolbiny from now on.  Again, Jeff AND Colin.  Match made in heaven ..... or celluloid.  OK they likely don't use it anymore but I'm an oldie.

OK, I'm off to prepare hubby's 'tea'.  He's just walked in the door and looking like he's not eaten since lunch lol  I'll pop back later and see if there is any more to add.  If I don't post this now, I may never get it done.  Which will be a blessing for you lot ha!

What you all been up to then?

Haggie- you talking about all your trips and I can't even imagine being in Liverpool.  What a treat!  Mareakesh.  Another place I can't even imagine, although my mother and sister went there years ago.

Weather.  The hottest I can remember.  We have broken several records.

We had a nice earthquake a month or so ago.  Shook the hell out of me.

Keep writing about your travels.  I like hearing about them.

Oh dear, so many trips to look forward to! The night in Heathrow is a shame. Is BA paying for its mistake?

I visited Morocco twice. The first time for professional purposes, the second time for leisure. The first time I saw Marrakesh, I felt a bit overwhelmed. The second time was better for me. Morocco as a whole is a very beautiful country. Its landscapes are formidable.

Summer? After an extremely and exceptional long period without rains we are now experiencing a regular Belgian Summer with rain, wind, clouds, green grass and complaining Belgians. It was so dry in the region where I live that we were no longer allowed to water the gardens and wash cars.

I have not been doing anything special. I work, take time off, and resume work. In between working periods, I take er very easy and spend time knitting, walking the dog, doing some cleaning and planning a perfect murder. Any great ideas anybody? My neighbor living on the floor above mine will be my victim. The man drives me nuts.

BTW, does anybody know why pictures taken with an iPhone are sorted in a chaotic way. Whenever I try to copy some to my computer I have to search my heart and soul inside out to retrieve what I want. Is there a trick to sort them in a decent fashion?

Oh my, I have a secret.

My neighbor is a nihilist who throws buckets full of water over his balcony. Thus he soils my windows and drowns my flowers. Apart from that, he knows nothing, he wants nothing (because wanting stuff often means having to spend money), he does nothing except stealing my sleep, for he is a drunk living at night. Then he turns into a noisilist.

I discovered something which will have many members here interested, but I cannot disclose anything without Nicky's holy consent. So, it is my secret (unless the whole of the US of A already knows, of course).

PS: I assume it is water.
