Martine, seems neighbours from hell live all over the planet.  I have a young neighbour who lives on his own, apart from when he invites his pals to stay.  Seems these peeps are all over the place.  As for your secret, pray tell.  Nicky, tell her to spill the beans please.

I am trying to pack for our wee trip to Liverpool, via Manchester.  We are leaving at the weekend and staying in Mancland until Tuesday then it's off to the land of the moptops woooooohooooo   What to pack is a head scratcher tho.  Weather here been pretty dire all summer and it's hard to know what footwear to take.  I hate wearing boots in the summer, but I've had to dig them out for the almost constant daily rain that the whole of the UK seems to be suffering.  Never mind, I'll just take shelter in the many pubs that line the streets.  That's a plan indeedy.

Martine, Thanks for your info on Marrakesh.  I'm looking forward to it and know a few people who have visited there and Casablanca.  Not sure if I can make it to Casablanca yet as haven't looked into how far away it is.  We like going on little excursions when we're away but obviously distance is a major factor.  It's not for another 4 weeks until we go so still time to look into stuff.  Still not happy about the return journey, but I suppose it had to happen eventually.  Seems many people have had the airport stay at some point in their own travels.

I forgot to mention that the girl has now finished her course, passed all her exams etc so is now fully qualified and has all her certificates etc and is now waiting to hear if her present place is keeping her on.  It's one thing to be on trainee wages but another when you have to be upped to full whack pay.  Obviously it's cheaper to pay someone who is training but they must also have their legal quota of trained staff on the premises.  She had an interview last week and is still waiting.  She's not holding her breath as only one trainee has been kept on during her 18+ months working there.   Such a shame but hopefully now that she has her Level 3, and Level 4 is the highest that can only be done once Level 3 is attained, it should open doors to not just nurseries but schools for support/special needs staff.  She likes where she is but it's not guaranteed.  I'll keep you posted.

Ali, we have little earthquakes in the UK too.  Not witnessed one here but when we were in San Francisco I was aware 2 or 3 times of feeling very very slightly off balance and then we were told on one of the tours that SF can have around 15 very minor underground quakes each day!!!!  He said most of the inhabitants are not aware of them and most visitors aren't either.  I assume that's what I was feeling and felt a bit better as I thought something was maybe amiss with me lol  Deterred me from using their underground system though.  I can't believe that they even have one under the circumstances.

Well, I'm off to staring packing hubby's case.  He trusts me so much.  If I left it to him he'd have a mismatch of stuff.  He's sometimes lacking in the colour co-ordination department lol  But I do hate packing, but hate unpacking even more.  That's when it all has to be washed and put away.  Oh well, it's that or stay put.

I'll try and post some pics if not while I'm away, on my return.  I tend to fall asleep very easily and quickly at night on my hols so don't always manage to get online when we get back to our hotel.  I sometimes manage to get stuff up on FB during the day so I think most people here have me friended there, but if not, tough lol  But if anyone wants to add me I'm Helen Clarke.  Or, let me know who you are and I'll send a request if you're on FB.

Till later peeps.

I bet Miss N knows my secret, but she does not want me to spill the beans. Information will come to light anyhow. It is just a matter of time, weeks, days, hours.

Enjoy your weekend!

Oh Missy Martine!

You are such a tease.

Drop a hint.  Just a little hint.

Is Michele from Canada planning to pop up again? Is that it?
