I'm going to be watching that on Monday Martine.  I do love David Attenborough.  How good is he for 90 though!  Such a brilliant documentary maker.

As for the rest, I'm surprised anyone is risking going to those links.  I hope your anti virus protection is updated [smile]

We have just started watching The Crown. Interesting. What astounds me, though, is that Elizabeth and Phillip are still alive, and so you would think they'd have to be careful about what they sensationalize. I've only seen 2 episodes --- but I've heard that Phillip turns out to be not so great. The actress who plays Elizabeth is very pretty. I had no idea about Margaret, though --- hmmm. . .

Or, on second thought - they're maybe not sensationalizing things, but it's not in such a good light. I was surprised that they'd do that when the people are living. And did I read here that Queen Elizabeth watches The Crown?

Oh, and what about when they get to Diana and all that? All the stuff with Charles and Horsey Face. Are they going to have all that too? It's not very respectful to William and Harry but sure would make for an interesting show. I feel kind of like a peeping tom.

Has anyone seen The Good Wife? An older show but it's supposed to be good. I'm always looking for good shows to watch.

Re books, I'm reading Sydney Sheldon (always fun and slightly smutty) The Other Side Of Midnight, which I read years ago. After Game Of Thrones -A Clash of Kings, I wanted something a little lighter.

What's everyone else watching/reading?

As for those links, don't click. However, my brother downloaded one for me, (I will gladly share, PM me, as I don't want to say the name and have more spam here). The other one (the one that Hag mentioned) had a problem with the current version.

Such a pain when your free things don't work properly.

As far as I know The Crown stops somewhere in the sixties. Diana is yet to come. The world they live in unrealistic. They are involved in so many charities, they cut so many ribbons, visit so many hospitals, shelters, poor people. I do not think they know what is going on. Does someone like Merkle realize what she is getting into? I do not know.

I try to watch movies on Netflix such as Still Alice, Hannibal (both featuring Julianne Moore). Julianne Moore is a great actress, I enjoy watching her.

I am currently reading Sweet Caress by William Boyd. Against The Day by Thomas Pynchon is waiting for me.

I'm reading The House at the End of Hope Street by Menna Van Praag and Funny Girl by Nick Hornby. Also listening to Brain Storm by Dan Siegel in the car - fascinating psychological / neurobiological take on teenagers.

I haven't watched anything much for a while but I'm looking forward to A Wrinkle in Time and Isle of Dogs.
