Jeff is featured on the cover of the Royal Photographic Society Journal this month! Quite an honor and his photographs hold up well. Click HERE to see the cover and more of the amazing magazine. Jeff's article starts on page 112 (page 34 on the website).

Congrats to Jeff for the magazine.

Such a great art form and so cool that uses movies as a backdrop.

I could only see the cover, Nicky. It looks great, but I couldn't link to Jeff's article.

Art comes out in so many different forms, be it photography, acting, writing, painting, sculpting, singing, and so on. It's interesting to me what people gravitate to, some this, some that, others a mix of this and that.

Michelangelo used to envision the image in the stone needing to come out.

I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.

Carving is not my thing, unfortunately, all I see is a rock.

Did you see the arrows on the right side of the picture to click on? Or at the bottom to slide along (like playing a movie on YouTube)?

Great! I like Jeff's Widelux photographs a lot. Does he use other cameras too? I have Jeff's picture book. Is it possible to buy the photo books he made of his various movies?

Who else here likes taking pictures? I do. What is your latest favorite?

I must say that I am particularly happy with my current FB cover photo (not quite the same as the Royal Photographic Society Journal cover, but still a cover - LOL). I was taking a walk with Bono in the park nearby and passed by 't Koninginnehof. It is one of Bono's favorite routes, since he can get close to the ducks and eh their droppings there. The smell lingering in the grass is extremely appealing. It was a beautiful bright sunny afternoon. The reflection of the building in the water was remarkable, like I had never seen it before. Unfortunately, I did not have a camera with me. So I used my cellphone to make a picture. The blue color of the sky and its white clouds reminded me of Magritte. Afterwards I added the heads to the photo, hihi haha.

Image may contain: cloud, sky, outdoor and water

One local photo clubs displays work in the entrance hall of the hospital where I work. Some pictures are amazing, really very very good.

By looking at pictures people take you sort of see the way they see the world, no? You see who they are sometimes. That is interesting. Jeff('s world) seems panoramic and somewhat distorted [wink][biggrin][tongue].

PS: the Louvre cabinet I bought will be delivered in two hours; I will use it as a book haven. Yeehaa! Time for me to wake up and get some stuff done.
