Dear Jeff and Nicky (Site Manager),
My mother went to Venice High School with your brother Beau and has enjoyed both your movies, but especially Rancho Deluxe. So much so that 25 years ago she built a 20 acre ranch house on the American River in Northern California and even titled the driveway archway “Rancho Deluxe”!
Last October she was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer and is courageously enduring chemotherapy this year. Her birthday is on January 24
th and I purchased a poster of your movie to be hung in her music room. It would mean the world to her Olympic Athlete daughter (me) if there was a way to have it autographed by you. I’m in Los Angeles, but would travel anywhere if needed for this to happen!! Either way, with both our hearts we wish you and your family Happy New Year!!

Hi Kim! Thank you for your message and request. Unfortunately I don't think Jeff will be available to sign anything in the next few weeks (apart from all his other stuff going on, he's off to shoot a new movie in Canada.) However, you could try reaching out to Becky, his assistant, at
firstname.lastname@example.org to see if she has anything she can send you. My hunch is, given the current situation, that she won't be able to help you this time - sorry! I wish your mother a very happy birthday and all the best with her chemotherapy.

Thank you ever so kindly Nicky and I did send a message to Becky as well.
This is something I would like to do for her regardless of her birthday, so maybe we can revisit it after he returns from Canada? All best, Kim __________________ Kim Gilbert

Maybe that's where he's filming his upcoming romantic drama with the wonderful Diane Lane !? Saw an endearing little gem that starred Diane recently called "Paris Can Wait." A romance for mature people about a road trip her character takes with a charming Frenchman, directed by Eleanor Coppola. Seen through "the female gaze." I usually especially love films made by women. A big bonus is seeing some of France. Diane Lane has a fabulous sparkling light touch that appears so natural in these sorts of light comedies and she also does drama fantastically. Can't wait to see Jeff and Diane interact again on screen (they co-starred in "Wild Bill," a very underrated artsy Western which was striking and original). Thanks for this, Jeff. We are going to love it. And many thanks to Diane Lane, one of my favorite actresses.
I'm sorry about your mother and hope she recovers soon and completely. __________________ "more sinned against than sinning"--shall be on my tombstone
