A tent under the stars with no distracting electronics sounds perfect to me right now. As always, I love your photos, Haggie. Thank you for letting us join you on your adventures.

How about car trips? Those are fun, too. Sometimes I like to just get in the car and go. Allan and I drove all the way through Eastern Canada (and Maine, beautiful State) once, and it was a lot of fun.

I would love to drive out west, but there are a lot of boring parts (days and days) before you get to the scenic routes. We drove to Boston a while back and it was beautiful. We saw Salem, too. I was surprised at how small Harvard is, though. But beautiful with all that ivy.

Believe me it was the best experience and one I will never forget.

Scotland is good for that too with all the hills and mountains and hundreds of villages and towns to stop in.  In fact my cousin and her husband just returned today from a trip to the Isle of Skye.  Scotland is full of these little gems.

We have also been to Boston.  Went there for Thanksgiving last year, but didn't take the car lol  Their accent has to be heard.  It's not Harvard but Haavid.

Hi Hag,

I know someone who just came back from Scotland, and she said it was the most beautiful country ever.
