But, if I lived in Malta, I'd come here for a holiday [tongue]  Scotland is not a place I travel around which I really should.  But I've been to and seen the places you have to go and see but should go to more places.  And yes Scotland is beautiful.  I think autumn is my favourite time with all the browns, reds and oranges.  But summers are pleasant and winters are wrap up warm and usually bright days. albeit short (doesn't start getting light until after 8-8.30am and dark by 4pm).  Alas, no bright blue sky today.  It's dark and drizzle rain.  At least that keeps Jack Frost at bay but it's a typical damp cold Monday.

I would love to go to Scotland, but will wait for warmer skies.

Oh, but I am disappointed. I thought I'd see all the beautiful men with their accents, running about in kilts. And London I thought I'd see lots of cobblestone streets, like in the old movies of centuries ago and no, it's just a big ole city.

(I am joking . . . but London I really thought there'd be some cobblestone streets . . . Now I've heard it just a cosmopolitan city. I would still love to go there, though.

I haven't been to London for far too long but I'm sure there are still cobblestone streets in some parts! There certainly were when I was last there. Here are some pictures of pretty streets: https://www.tripsavvy.com/the-prettiest-streets-in-london-4147353  and

Those are beautiful, Nicky. We have an old section in Quebec City, that they say is the most European city in North America. I've been there many times, though. I would love to go to England, Scotland & Ireland. But not right at the moment, not with my Dad and everything happening. Also, the weather . . . and of course the cost. Maybe it would be best to visit one country at a time.
