Remember what The Stranger said: " It was a pretty good story. Don't you think? It made me laugh to beat the band. Parts, anyway. I didn't like seein' Donny go. But, then I happen to know that there's a little Lebowski on the way. I guess that's the way the whole durned human comedy keeps perpetuatin' itself down through the generations. Westward the wagons, across the sands of time until we - ah, look at me. I'm ramblin' again.

I found him. Our Little Dude. He was doing the usual, just like me [wink].

Yeah, I feared I would cause some confusion. Over here people claim to be Catholic, but in fact they are more like nihilists, I mean atheists. Religion is far less important than in the USA.

The Catholic church has given us a number of public holidays, which is good. Unfortunately, the behavior of its priests and representatives is not always very catholic.

As a young child I went to church every week, but I do not think I have ever believed in God; I simply do not have it in me. I cannot believe in a higher force which resides somewhere up there.

Lol!

I wonder if their 'Little Dude' will grow up to like White Russians?

I do believe in something, not formalized religion, but I do believe there is something else there. I have to, it's the optimist in me. Otherwise, what's the point of it all?

Michele - I just wish my parents would have known about the questions their six grown children have after going to all those years of Catholic schools.  Some of those nuns I loved and some I did not but they all taught their own little variation of scripture.  No real consistency.
I will say that the nuns taught all the other subjects very well.  Religion was not their strong point. :0
