This thread title made me remember that young woman I met in Pensacola, Florida who had "half a brain," literally, and still was able to walk, talk, make humorous comments and observations though there was something kind of detached and removed about her. She'd had major brain surgery, obviously, to only have half her brain left. I found her rather amazing.

That is so true. Much depends on how you handle stuff and look at things.

How strange and fascinating! Do you know which half was left? I always wonder about people who are more "right brain" oriented, or "left brain" oriented - creative versus logical. I don't suppose it's really that straight forward but I think I'd rather have my left side removed, if I had to choose one. How about you?

Interesting.

I have had a lot of stress in my life lately due to my dad and family members from Hell, but i am trying to deal with things one day at a time.

Re right/left brain, I just took this quiz and am 70% right brain, creative, which I am not surprised about. I was glad to see some left-brain activity in there, sometimes I wonder/worry about myself.

I got the same result! 30% Left, 70% Right. That was fun.
