I already started Caregiver Pictures.  Last week.  And, you didn't reply.  Why ask now?

There are not many rules. Jeff Bridges and our webmistress Nicky are always very tolerant in all possible ways towards the members of this board. Only recently have we been asked to remain civil in our interactions with each other.

Everybody can alter, edit his/her own posts here. So, if you write something and feel unhappy with it afterwards, you can change it or even delete it. This only applies to your own additions. I am very grateful for that option.

Very often people cannot respond straight away to what has been posted. Perhaps they cannot, perhaps they will not, perhaps they intend to but forget about it. Perhaps they misinterpret what we write. The options are endless. That is the way things go.

We all have to try to take 'er easy around here, we have to be patient. And that is very difficult sometimes.

I sit in my living room and watch planes pass by, I see my cactus standing up straight after I watered him, I see cars coming and going, I see my dog taking a nap. Despite the fact that my neighbor above is producing noise (I have not killed him yet!), moving around furniture, all is peaceful and quiet inside my head - I can hear Van Morrison singing On Hyndford Street. The silence is real there.

While you make your decision. Please know, both of you are welcome to visit us in Oak Park, Illinois.  And, if you wish to visit us, and need references, we can provide them for you.  We are truly transparent.

Michelle, I have read many of your posts.  You are a caring human being.  You listen.  Listening is a true gift.

Ali, you are a 60year old Scotch with an electronic trigger.  Continue to use your power for good.  And, if you guys want to see Oak Park, Illinois, and raise a toast to Jeff, We're your gals.

Hi Carol,

Oh, this took me by surprise. Thank you for your kind words.

I'm sorry to hear that your mom is in so much pain. You sound like a caring and loving daughter to her, though.

Maybe someday we can have a meeting with Ali and everyone who would care to join in, that would be wonderful, but for the distant future I'm afraid I have to stay put. I want to be here for my Dad, and so Allan and I haven't been going anywhere, lately. The last time I saw him (Thursday past) he seemed to be slipping a little, and so I don't want to miss any time.

There are other reasons, commitments and so on, but that's the main one.

An excellent way of putting things, Martine. Sometimes I feel more like contributing than others, some things resonate with me more than others, and sometimes I have to think about what I reply, so I may come back later when I have more time and a clearer head.

Another reason I tend to only answer some posts at a time is because if I have spent too much time here and I need to get on with (real life) I'll come back later and see what I haven't answered. Like now. I've come back to add this, because I've spent the last half hour posting pics in another post, and not been doing my work!

And sometimes I wish I had the same option in life that we have on this board. Imagine if we could delete words that we wish we hadn't said?

And, you guys respond full force to contradict me.  Read the posts.

What about the real rage janie and I have experienced.

The rage is/was real.

I wrote about the edits.  You neglected the fact of RAGE.

What do you think about Janie and Me living the RAGE?
