My day is almost over, but perhaps yours is still blossoming.
Anyway, I hope that you all find some form of happiness today (and always). I felt happy because the sky was blue and the broccoli soup in my plate as green as the hills of Ireland. Bono also made me feel happy, because he is in seventh heaven when I pet him and he puts his head on my shoulder. My mother made me happy because she is painting a small cabinet; it is almost finished and will soon return to my entrance hall. No doubt it will then really tie my residence together. Some people have rugs, others small cabinets. Finally, I wish to make clear that I find it a bit odd that we need an "International Day of Happiness". People should always feel happy and content. Everywhere. __________________ “Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. Yes, your days are pretty much over while mine might just be getting started.
International Day Of Happiness. Never heard of it before. How does it work? Is there a magic potion to make one happy? I think the greeting card business makes up all these weird holidays just so we'll buy more cards. Bah! Happiness. Who needs it. Well - just kidding. It's always nice to be happy. : ) __________________ And God said "let there be light".

I didn't know that yesterday was the International Day of Happiness, either. I got an email from one of my sisters - that always feels good. My husband had the day off work and we went out for breakfast, which made me very happy. We both picked up my son from school early, so he was happy, and we spent some time in the spring sunshine together. And I took my dog for a happy, smell-rich, walk around our neighborhood. I had a happy day!
